Hey everybody! There's just a few more weeks until the big day! You definitely don't want to miss out on this great workshop. There's lots to learn and plenty of fun to be had. We've extended the date for our early bird special, so until October 13th, the price for full weekend admission is $40 without a shirt or $45 with a shirt. After this date, the price will rise to $60. We have a Paypal option of payment as well as with cash or check. Hey guys! If any of you are interested in getting some private lessons from our awesome instructors, Joel and Jenna, here's where you can get that information.

Times available for private lessons:

These are Joel's hours:
THURSDAY evening (6:00-7:00, 7:00-8:00)

FRIDAY morning (9:00-10:00, 10:00-11:00, 11:00-12:00)
FRIDAY after the workshops (5:30, 6:30, 7:30)

SATURDAY morning (8:30-9:30, 9:30-10:30)
SATURDAY afternoon (5:30, 6:30, 7:30)
Keep in mind that there are only 13 spots available, so if you want lessons, sign up for them quick!


These are Jenna's hours:
FRIDAY morning (10:00-11:00, 11:00-12:00)
SATURDAY morning (9:30-10:30)
SUNDAY morning (10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00pm)
We're going to try to fill up the Thursday/Sunday slots first, so if you want them sign up quick!

Joel and Jenna will both be available to teach simultaneously at these times:

For ISU weekend, they will offer a 50% discount for privates:

$40/hour/single - Joel or Jenna alone ($40/hr)
$80/hour/single - Joel & Jenna together ($40/hr each)

Hey gang! We have some new information for you. So far, we have the dates and pricing. We are still working to get all the details worked out, so be sure to keep track of what's going on through either this blog or our Facebook page here.

The pricing for our 2012 I. Swing U. event is as follows:
Until October 13, 2012, ticket prices for the whole weekend will be $40 without an official I. Swing U. 2012 t-shirt or $45 with a t-shirt.
After October 13, ticket prices will rise to $60 for the weekend.
We are currently working on a way to accept payment electronically. More information to arrive later.

We've also worked out a schedule for the workshop.
Friday, October 26 2012
Registration at 12, classes from 1-5:45. Dance later.
Saturday, October 27 2012
Classes from 11-1:15, break for lunch, return to classes from 3:00-5:15. Dance at 8:30.

The daily schedule is subject to change, but we'll let you know.

Planning for Fall

Hey Guys,

So we've started the process of planning next Fall's workshop for 2012's I.Swing U. We want everybody's input on this thing so that we can get all the details finalized by mid July. So here's some important F.Y.I.

l) The information currently up on this website is out of date (We'll be updating it as soon as we have finished the planning process for Fall).

2) Our goals this year is to get 100 people out. If enough people r.s.v.p. by July/August. We're going to make the weekend pass only $40. (Still shooting for 10 hours of instruction).

So thank you for taking the time to contact us. We hope to see you all on the Dance floor this Fall.

Hello and Welcome to I SwingU!

This workshop has been two years in the making and now it's finally here we can't wait to have you come and join us.

At this point it looks like we'll have over 20 hours of dancing for everyone. Ten of those hours will be instruction with two of the best teachers in the World.

If you've ever wanted to try Swing Dancing this is the event for you. Joel and Jen have promised us they'll have something for everyone, beginner and advanced alike.

So set aside the day and we'll see you on the dance floor.
